How Panya AI Came Together
Panya AI was founded in Bangkok in 2021 by a small team of software engineers and educators who had noticed a gap in how AI skills were being taught. Most courses either moved too fast — skipping over the reasoning behind key concepts — or stayed too abstract, leaving learners with theoretical knowledge they could not apply to a real problem.
The founding team spent a year mapping out a curriculum that treated each topic as a building block: something to understand fully before moving on. The result was three structured programmes that follow a single learning path, from Python fundamentals through to neural network deployment.
The name Panya draws on the Thai word for wisdom — the kind that comes not from absorbing information but from working through problems carefully, understanding what you are doing, and knowing how to apply it again later. That principle shapes every course we offer.

AI Development Education in Bangkok
Panya AI operates from Bangkok's Huai Khwang district and serves learners across Thailand and the wider Southeast Asian region. As AI tools become more embedded in commercial software, data pipelines, and product development, the ability to build and evaluate machine-learning systems has moved from a specialist skill to a practical one — something more developers are expected to understand, at least at a working level.
Our three-course pathway covers the full range from entry-level Python through to deep learning and system design. Each course is self-paced and structured around weekly projects, giving learners something to do with what they have read rather than simply absorbing it. Mentor involvement is central: assignments are reviewed by named practitioners, not auto-graded or returned with generic comments.
The curriculum reflects what is actually used in production. We teach the Python libraries, model evaluation approaches, and deployment patterns that appear in real engineering work — not a curated list of tools chosen for tutorial convenience. Portfolio projects at the end of each course are designed to be usable in a professional context, not discarded after grading.
Panya AI is a focused school with a narrow remit. We do not offer short workshops, certification refreshers, or broad digital skills programmes. Our work is specifically AI and Python development — three courses, one well-defined path, and consistent attention to the quality of every learner's experience.
